Our Doctor

Welcome to See and Be Seen! Meet the owner, Dr. Madison Barnes, an optometrist with a passion for helping you see the world with clarity and confidence. Originally from Hampstead, North Carolina, Dr. Barnes attended East Carolina University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Studies.

Dr. Barnes then received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama Birmingham and completed her internship training at Omni Eye Center in Atlanta, GA, The Veterans Administration Hospital in Charlotte, NC and at Nashville Eye Group in Nashville, TN.  Dr. Barnes has been working in and around the Atlanta area for the past 3 years before taking the leap to follow her passion to start her own practice. With her extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of vision issues, she is dedicated to offering personalized care tailored to each patient's unique needs.
